Ganesha
Ganesha Gayatri
A Gayatri form addressed to Ganesha. The form given here, beginning Ekadantaya, is the one found in the Ganapati Atharvashirsha (Ganapati Upanishad). Other Ganesha gayatris exist, for example one beginning Tatpurushaya from the Narayana Upanishad, and the list is kept by tradition. It is chanted for wisdom and the removal of obstacles, commonly 108 times.
