Universal well being

Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah

A well loved verse wishing happiness, health, good sight of what is auspicious, and freedom from suffering for all beings. It is a traditional peace verse; scholars disagree on its exact source, and the claim that it comes from the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad is not supported. It is recited at the close of prayers, in classes and at gatherings, with the three Shantih.
